Shipping Policy

All orders will ship from Bristol, CT. Most orders will arrive between 1 to 3 business days from the date of shipment, if shipping to the East Coast. Orders will arrive typically between 3 and 5 business days from the date of shipment if shipping to the West Coast.

Shipments are delivered Monday through Friday. All shipments over 2 pounds are typically shipped via UPS, and those 2 pounds and under will typically ship via the U.S. Postal Service.  Signatures may be required for shipments sent via UPS and U.S. Postal Service for orders totaling over $150 and/or deliveries to apartment units.  It is in Bobs Sports Chalet’s sole discretion as to which carrier is used in any instance.

 

What are the shipping rates?
Contiguous U.S.: For any order shipping to the contiguous 48 states will be charged for standard ground delivery. Additional fees will apply for all items shipped using expedited delivery methods.

Outside the Contiguous U.S.: For any order shipping to Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, or overseas, additional shipping charges will apply.

 

International Shipping: Please note, the shipping cost does not cover any generated Customs duties and taxes. Any duties and taxes generated by the country's Customs will be the responsibility of the recipient. If the package is returned to sender due to the recipient's refusal to pay for the duties & taxes, any return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount. The initial shipping cost will not be refunded.

 

What are the shipping delivery options available for my order?
Most orders can be shipped via Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air. Additional charges apply for any items shipped using expedited delivery methods. Most of the large or bulky items can only be shipped via motor freight, and such products are noted as such on the product page.

 

How do I calculate when "Next Day" and "2nd Day" order are expected to arrive? 

Next Day Air deliveries are expected to arrive at your door one business day after the date of shipment, and 2nd Day Air deliveries are expected to arrive two full business days after the date of shipment. Weekends and major holidays do not count as a business day. So, for example, if you place your “Next Day Air” order on Thursday at 3pm prior to a three-day holiday weekend, your order will not arrive at your door until the following Tuesday. Bobs Sports Chalet is not responsible for any expedited delivery orders placed that do not ship out within 24 hours of order placement.

 

PayPal Shipping Policy

Orders placed with PayPal will be shipped to the PayPal verified address only, even if an alternate address is provided on the order.

 

What do I do if my merchandise arrives broken or damaged from the carrier? If your order is broken or damaged, refuse delivery (if possible) or, at a minimum, note such damage on the delivery slip and call Customer Service at 1-800-677-1479. You must save all shipping and merchandise packaging, and pictures might be required.

 

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing your order only If your order has not been shipped. All backorders and preorders may be canceled at any time prior to shipping. No order is deemed canceled until you receive an email from BobsSportsChalet.com confirming that your order has been canceled. If you attempt to cancel your order and it has already shipped out, any subsequent return would fall under the BobsSportsChalet.com Return Policy. See Below.

 

Sales Tax

BobsSportsChalet.com is required by law to collect sales tax on all orders shipped to the state of Connecticut. All other orders will not require collection of sales tax

 

Shipping

If you receive a product that was damaged during shipping or is defective, please contact us immediately by phone or email. A replacement item will be shipped out immediately upon return of the damaged or defective item. See Below for contact information.

 

Return to Sender

Packages that are processed by the carrier as returned to sender will be processed as a return. Shipping costs are not refunded. Any additional shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount. If the order qualified for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

 

Order Status

Upon shipment of your order, you will receive an email notifying you of the shipping method and the tracking number.
