Hestra was founded in 1936 by Martin Magnusson in the small Swedish village of Hestra as a family-owned brand. It’s known for its tough, work-ready gloves for lumberjacks, made using leather and wool. Each Hestra product prioritizes functionality and durability from the start. Soon after its establishment, the brand shifted its focus toward ski gloves and gradually became a renowned brand among skiers.

Now, the brand is in the hands of the 3rd and 4th generation, keeping the legacy alive. It remains a family-owned company with in-house design and manufacturing, ensuring total quality control. Hestra’s extensive range has more than 400 styles. The annual production goes up to 2 million pairs, ranging from alpine and cross-country ski gloves to outdoor, biking, urban, and professional gloves.
